A Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy and a SUV driver who rammed the law enforcement officer's patrol vehicle were hospitalized Thursday after the crash that led to a shooting in Bell Gardens, the sheriff's department said.near Florence and Eastern avenues. The deputy stopped in the intersection after noticing a reckless driver, possibly speeding and performing donuts, in a white SUV.
The two SUVs collided before the white SUV driver reversed and intentionally rammed the sheriff's department SUV, authorities said.
