As stated in the department order posted on the DepEd website on Tuesday, June 20, Vice President and Secretary Sara Z. Duterte approved the granting of the anniversary bonus to all DepEd officials and employees who have rendered at least one year of service in the department.
Citing Administrative Order No. 322 issued by former President Fidel Ramos, DepEd said that its founding anniversary is on June 23. DepEd explained the anniversary bonus is “granted” to officials and employees of government agencies on the Milestone Years of the agency. “Milestone years are defined as the 15th anniversary of the government agency and every 5th year thereafter,” DepEd said.
