While February can be hit-or-miss when it comes to Denver snowstorms, there've been a few hits in the last few years.

Snow fell overnight in the metro area with much larger amounts expected later Saturday afternoon overnight in to Sunday., February is usually a month with a few shots of light snow, but blockbuster snowstorms aren’t typically a mid-winter thing along the Front Range.
Denver’s biggest snowstorms are usually saved for March, April or the fall season, but every so often, a big Front Range snowstorm can sneak into February as well.One thing that stands out about the top February snowstorm list in Denver, though is that several of the top events have come within the last few years. Here’s a look back at the top February snowstorms on record in the Denver area:: Over a foot of snow fell over these two February days back in 1909, including an official total of 12.
Perhaps most remarkably, that February saw measurable snowfall in 13 of the 29 days that month.
