Airlines often reevaluate their frequent-flier programs as both travel patterns and economic conditions shift year to year. However, Delta’s proposed loyalty adjustments in amade status earning significantly more challenging. In some cases, customers would be required to double their spending in 2024 to achieve the same status level as 2023.The result of this? The carrier’s most valued guests were turning on Delta en masse.
