Deer Park eliminates Pasadena from soccer playoffs with 3-2 verdict
Deer Park's Gavin Dailey and Pasadena's Aimar Behena keep close tabs on each other as a throw-in awaits in first-half action Friday night.Just one soccer coach was going to have the privilege of celebrating a tremendous win, while also singing the praises of District 22 competition.

Pasadena would score on a penalty kick from Jose Carrero with 20:51 remaining only to have Deer Park ice the victory with a late goal from Edson Martinez Carbajal, who used some nice footwork to find the net. He was also outnumbered 3-1 when he kicked the ball.Deer Park’s five yellow cards put a crimp in the team’s bid to keep some consistency on the field.
