December Avenue , a five-piece indie pop/alternative band, will celebrate its 15th anniversary in the music industry with a major concert titled 'Sa Ilalim Ng Mga Bituin: December Avenue Concert' on August 30 at the Mall of Asia Arena.The band — composed of Zel Bautista , Jem Manuel , Don Gregorio , Gelo Cruz , and Jet Danao — was Spotify's Most Streamed Artist in the Philippines in 2019 and is known for the Most Streamed Album of All Time, 'Langit Mong Bughaw.
'I told them, if no one buys the tickets, we'll buy them ourselves and give them away,' joked Gregorio in a press conference.'But we didn't expect 65 percent to be sold within two hours. We thought we'd have to work hard until the day before the concert, hoping people would come, but it was really surprising,' he continued.'We were really surprised, especially with the venue, MOA Arena. We were a bit nervous about its size.
