Deadpool and Wolverine in the MCU with a portal from Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse
The introduction of a strange Deadpool variant in Deadpool & Wolverine gave me hope that the MCU could crossover with one of 2023's biggest Marvel movies to explore an unusual alternate universe in the Multiverse Saga. Although I initially expected Deadpool & Wolverine to bring the titular Merc with a Mouth into the MCU's main continuity permanently, and mark the end of Fox's X-Men universe of Earth-10005, I'm glad it didn't go down that way.
