A multi-vehicle crash occurred between the intersection of West Philadelphia Street and North Belvidere Avenue in York City around 3:30 p.m. According to the York dispatcher, the crash occurred between a motorcycle and tractor-trailer, with the coroner being called to the scene for one person. At 3:49 p.m., officials shut down West Philadelphia Street and North West Street, and the intersection of North Belvidere Avenue and West Market Street.
Deputy Coroner Molly York had gone to the scene to investigate and certify the death. The tractor-trailer was in the right lane of West Philadelphia Street wanting to make a left turn onto Belvidere Avenue when a motorist was in the left lane, said in a news release by the Coroners office.
