David Tennant’s return to Star Wars in Ahsoka could hint at two other Jedi-related characters’ arcs in the show. The first Ahsoka trailer revealed that Tennant will be reprising his role as the droid Professor Huyang from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Huyang In Ahsoka Supports Jacen Syndulla Becoming A Jedi Though it’s currently unclear whether Professor Huyang’s role in Ahsoka is limited to flashbacks or if he was somehow salvaged in the aftermath of the Clone Wars, his presence in the series could indicate that Jacen Syndulla is hoping to become a Jedi and construct a lightsaber. Jacen Syndulla is the Force-sensitive son of Rebel pilot Hera Syndulla and Order 66 survivor Kanan Jarrus, all of whom were introduced in Star Wars Rebels.
