This has since been shown from an outside view, where the expansion of X-wings can be seen on the ship's exterior. Filoni, however, has changed the position of this shot, instead keeping the camera inside the cockpit as the S-foils expand.
The Cockpit View Is An Exciting & Immersive One For Star Wars Since X-wings debuted, Star Wars viewers have wanted to imagine what it's like to pilot one. This perspective change from Filoni in Ahsoka episode 4 allows viewers that chance, making the experience immersive even through the screen.
