Vice presidential candidate and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio assured Filipinos that what she accomplished in Davao can also be done on a nationwide scale.
Addressing thousands of supporters in a series of sorties in Laguna Friday, March 11, Mayor Duterte said the achievements of Davao City during her one term as vice mayor and three terms as mayor are doable for the entire country. The Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats chairperson was referring to the city’s citations as the fourth most competitive city in the country, and eighth richest.
Meanwhile, her father, President Duterte, is also often credited with transforming the peace and order situation in Davao for the better during his multiple terms as mayor prior to Inday Sara’s tenure.
