A political advertisement that appeared in the Southern Star in April questioned the financial state of Dale County, amongst other things.Enfinger believes finances are faltering, even with millions in ARPA funds, federal dollars that were given to local governments during the COVID-19 pandemic. “I think it was in poor choice to do it there in a commission meeting. I don’t think a commission meeting is a place that we want to play politics,” Enfinger said.
