In sports we call those intangibles, which are usually imbedded in immeasurables like hustle, competitiveness, will, work ethic and being a good teammate – among so many others.
“It was frustrating the first two years of high school, but I understand that I’m still impacting the game and helping my team, but in a different way,” Parker told the Daily News in April. When it’s time to play defense, Parker plays centerfield where she shows grace and athleticism when tracking down a fly ball. She posted 1.000 fielding percentage this season.

The freshman led Village Christian – which reached the CIF Southern Section Division 6 final – in RBI, homers and triples . The freshman appeared at the plate 93 times this season and only struck out nine times.
