If you remember, Chris"Mad Dog" Russo said he would retire if the D-backs beat Philly in Games 6 and 7 of the NLCS.PHOENIX — Diamondbacks President and CEO Derrick Hall isn't letting Chris"Mad Dog" Russo get away with going back on his word about retiring if the D-backs won Games 6 and 7 of the NLCS in Philadelphia.
Well, the D-backs did win the two games and are in the World Series, which put Russo right in the middle of sticky situation when he hosted his show from Chase Field before Game 3 Monday night. "Was there something said? How is he still here when he retired?" Hall said before going into the impression.
Russo seems to have accepted the backlash for going back on his word and not retiring. Hall seemed pretty forgiving given the fact no one was rooting for the D-backs to go to The Show.
