He pleaded to involuntary manslaughter in the February 2022 death of a man at a hotel.
An Enola man was sentenced to four to 10 years in state prison Tuesday for his admitted roles in dealing drugs containing fentanyl and, more specifically, contributing to the February 2022 overdose death of a friend at a Carlisle motel.
The woman told police she’d seen Snowberger, 24, ingesting drugs that same night, and a follow-up autopsy report listed the cause of death as acute fentanyl toxicity, suggesting the pills were likely counterfeit versions of their prescription drug namesakes. In an interview with Filaroski during a search of his East Pennsboro Township home a week later, police said Filaroski admitted giving the pills to Snowberger, though Filaroski also stated he believed Snowberger was going to sell the Percocet pills.
Filaroski, who said nothing in court Tuesday, avoided prosecution on a harsher drug delivery resulting in death count by accepting the plea. With credit for time served since February 24, 2022, he could be eligible for parole in late February 2026.
