The victim, now an adult, said Ernest L. Myers abused her nearly 20 years ago at an Upper Allen Township trailer park.
Police in Cumberland County charged a 76-year-old man with rape in connection with an assault nearly 20 years ago against a girl who was six years old at the time.
Police charged Ernest L. Myers, of Upper Allen Township, with two felonies: rape and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse after the victim, now an adult, came forward. The victim said Myers was babysitting her in October 2003 when Myers forced her to perform oral sex on him before he would allow her to go outside and play with his granddaughter, who was about her age.
The incident happened in a trailer park in the 3500 block of Rolo Court, according to court records. Myers would have been about 57-years-old at the time. He now lives in the 100 block of Stoner Drive.at the Upper Allen Township police station.
