The UniTeam grand rally at Robinsons Grounds here Friday night, April 29, had all the usual sights of a grand rally–a big crowd, a fireworks display, a performance from rapper Andrew E., and eye-catching signs from the attendees.
SAN FERNANDO CITY, Pampanga–
However, there was one particular crowd sign that stood out, for the simple fact that it caught the attention of both presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte. He then chuckled as he read the words on one sign: “Excited na kaming pumunta sa EDSA para sa victory party .”
Just minutes earlier, during her own speech, Mayor Duterte also saw the “victory party” sign and was visible amused. The face paint-wearing lady executive read the sign out loud, and then turned to Marcos behind her to check his reaction.
