Sa unang pagkakataon, isang Airbus helicopter ng French Frigate na Vendemiare ang nag-touch and go sa BRP Davao del Sur, isa sa mga landing ship dock ng Philippine Navy. Sa RAS, puwedeng hatiran ang isang umaandar na barko ng supply gaya ng pagkain, tubig at krudo ng isang barko ng navy.Tinanong si Commander Sandalo kung puwede bang gamitin ang kasanayang ito sa West Philippine Sea para mas tumagal sa laot, lalo na ang mga nagpapatrolyang floating assets ng Pilipinas sa ating mga teritoryo.
"We are conducting 'yung training for different scenarios and, for the notional scenario, 'yung search and rescue is about how to help 'yung mga nangangailangan especially at sea," ani Sandalo.
