With their conquest over the Angels in the match that drew 12,175 live fans, the Cool Smashers clinched their fourth All-Filipino title and sixth overall in the league.Creamline, which rallied from a 0-1 set deficit to win the series, has now won three of its four championship battles against Petro Gazz.Jema Galanza dropped 19 points including the championship-clinching attack to lead the Cool Smashers, whose net defense proved to be the main obstacle for the Angels.
Jia De Guzman, who was voted Most Valuable Player in the Finals, dished out 18 excellent sets as Tots Carlos and Ced Domingo chipped in 16 and 12 points, respectively.Recovering from a first set defeat, Creamline took the next two sets and carried the momentum to the fourth frame where it raced to a 4-0 advantage.
