There were no arrests and the crash remained under investigation by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and Newark police, authorities said Friday.
A multi-vehicle collision left one man dead and another person injured early Friday in Newark, authorities said.
Tahir Knox, 23, of Newark, died around 2:45 a.m. at University Hospital after he was removed from the Nissan by emergency crews, authorities said. Another passenger from the Nissan was treated for a leg injury.
