The New Jersey crash involved a pickup truck and a rig.
Two motorists were killed Thursday morning when their trucks collided at a Salem County, New Jersey, intersection, police said.
Ashley Knuth, 36, of Bridgeton, was driving a pickup truck pulling a trailer westbound on Mannington-Yorktown Road in shortly after 9 a.m., and David Mitchell, 42, of Woodstown, was driving an International 920 truck tractor north on Alloway-Woodstown Road, according to a New Jersey State Police spokesman.A juvenile passenger in the pickup suffered serious injuries, while a second juvenile in the truck suffered minor injuries, police said.
The intersection was closed for about seven hours, and the crash remains under investigation, police said.
