owner and general manager Jerry Jones pushed back against the school of thought that another one-and-done postseason run could earn head coach Mike McCarthy a pink slip., Jones backed the coach and said McCarthy's job status would not be solely evaluated based on the results of Monday's wild-card round game against the Buccaneers.
"No. I don't even want to... No. That's it," he said."I don't need to go into all the pluses or minuses. I've got a lot more to evaluate Mike McCarthy on than this playoff game."
