Although it remained at a low level, the seven-day COVID-19 positivity rate in Metro Manila increased from 1.8 to 2.1 percent between March 1 and March 8, the Octa Research Group said. | BPinlacINQ

Presidential adviser on COVID-19 Vince Dizon previously said that the government aims to “close the book” on the pandemic starting in March, or two years after the first local transmission of the virus was recorded in San Juan.
