A Quezon City court has ordered the transfer of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and his four co-accused from the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame to the Quezon City Jail.The order, dated September 9, 2024, was signed by Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 106 Presiding Judge Noel L. Parel.The order tasked the chief of the Philippine National Police Headquarters Support Service to "transfer and commit" Quiboloy and Cresente Canada to the New Quezon City Jail on Payatas Road.
The wardens of the two Quezon City jail facilities, meanwhile, were ordered to produce Quiboloy and the others before the court on Friday morning for their arraignment and pre-trial "via videoconference hearing."Quiboloy and the others are under police custody for alleged violation of the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act as well as qualified human trafficking.
