A woman from Cortland died following a crash in Aurora on Wednesday between a motorcycle and an SUV, police said.
At 5:02 p.m. Wednesday, Aurora police were dispatched to Butterfield Road and Savannah Drive in the city due to a traffic crash. Two people were riding on the motorcycle, a 30-year-old male driver from Batavia and Ross, who was a passenger, according to the release. Both people who were on the motorcycle were transported to a local hospital by Aurora Fire Department paramedics. The driver was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, while the passenger, Ross, was treated for life-threatening injuries and died on Thursday, according to the release.
