CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Police authorities seized over P1 million worth of illegal drugs from a 40-year old man during a buy-bust operation in Cabanatuan City on Friday, April 22.
Colonel Jess Mendez, Acting Provincial Director of the Nueva Ecija PPO, said that Special Drug Enforcement Unit personnel of Cabanatuan City Police Station conducted the anti-illegal drug buy bust operation in Brgy. Bantug Bulalo, Cabanatuan City which led to the arrest of Arnold Palioc. The Central Luzon cops said the alleged illegal drugs that were found in the possession of the suspect who is a resident of Brgy. Suklayin, Baler, Aurora, weighed more or less 150 grams.
The confiscated drugs were contained in 21 pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets and two knot-tied transparent plastic packs. The value of the seized prohibited substance based on the Dangerous Drug Board estimate is P1,020,000.Charges for violation of Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against the suspect.
