A cold storm moved in last yesterday. We're on the tail end of the storm, so rain and snow showers won't last very long. There's a slight chance of t-storms. Most of it tapers off early in the morning.
The cold front that brought strong winds yesterday is moving east into Colorado. Cooler temperatures will be in place behind the departing front. It will be breezy across Southern Utah, but winds will be lighter than yesterday. Winds across South Central Utah could gust near 40 mph and create areas of blowing dust.
Winds will increase again Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday ahead of another cold front. More valley rain and mountain snow is expected across Northern & Central Utah from late Wednesday into Thursday.Monday: Partly cloudy & cooler with a chance of snow showers & isolated thunderstorms in the morning. Most showers taper off by 9 am. Highs: Low 50s.Monday: Sunny & cooler. West winds 10-20 mph with patchy blowing dust possible in the morning. Highs: Near 70.
