Kasuso Foundation, in collaboration with Araneta City, announces its Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign, themed “Let’s Bridge the Breast Cancer
The initiative aims to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer education and support. Partnering with 35 contemporary artists and 15 photojournalists, the campaign offers unique experiences, including art exhibits and conventions, to promote early detection and access to care during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The exhibit delves into various themes related to breast cancer. It explores the physical and emotional challenges, emphasizes the significance of family and community support, underscores hope and resilience, and highlights the need for early detection and treatment accessibility. Beyond personal narratives, it serves as a commentary on broader societal issues affecting Filipina women, such as inadequate healthcare inclusivity.
Esteemed photojournalist Jimmy Domingo will offer insight into the daily struggles of breast cancer patients through his photo exhibit, shedding light on the current breast cancer landscape in the country.
