More apartments are now in the works in a fast-growing North Texas city.
Houston-based developer I3 has broken ground on the 251-unit Highfield Preston apartments in Celina.Houston-based developer I3 started construction last month on Highfield Preston, an apartment complex with 251 units at the intersection of Preston Road and Frontier Parkway in Celina.
The first units are expected to be available for lease in August 2023. Christina Solomon, senior vice president of marketing for I3, declined to share pricing details but said rents would be competitive with other properties in the area.This is the company’s first project in Dallas-Fort Worth. It has a portfolio of projects across the health care, multifamily, cold-storage and retail sectors in Texas, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana and Arizona.
I3 closed on the 7.9-acre site in December. Simon Beakley and Collins Meier of Davison & Bogel Real Estate LLC brokered the deal.
