Connor Arendell has proven one thing in professional golf: he's dangerous in Florida Opens played anywhere near Fort Myers.
"It's an honor to win this championship again," Arendell told fsga.org."Winning down here two years ago in Fort Myers gave me some extra confidence coming into the week. There are a lot of chances out there if you hit the fairways, so I just knew if I could hit some fairways then I would have some looks and go from there."
Arendell led UCF to three AAC conference titles in a row from 2010-2012. He earned a DP World Tour card in 2013 and made six of 17 cuts over the next two seasons. Arendell then qualified for the Korn Ferry Tour status in 2018 but when he missed 16 of 22 cuts and earned $11,869 to lose his card.
