If that low is farther offshore, that could mean snow for a lot of locations; if it gets a little bit closer, the I-95 corridor could have rain.”
“Models disagree on the specific track and sensible weather impacts on our region, including frozen precipitation coverage and amounts, and that is completely unsurprising at this time range of a week out,” the weather service added. “However, the overall pattern appears very conducive to a significant storm system, with arctic air getting involved, which increases the threat of a stronger low pressure area and frozen precipitation for at least a portion of our area.
