CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The search for 21-year-old New Braunfels native Caleb Harris is well into its second week, with no clue on his whereabouts- at least pub
Over a dozen volunteers combed through a field in a grid search Thursday picking up anything man-made.
During the second week of the Texas A&M Corpus Christi students’ disappearance, CCPD divers have been deployed, along with a drone team looking down from the sky, as cadets search on foot.On Tuesday this week, The United States Coast Guard Air Station Corpus Christi sent a team on a helicopter to help. The helicopter team flew above Ennis Joslin Road, where Harris’s apartment complex The Cottages is located. The team also searched drainage ditches beside the apartment complex.
Volunteers from New Braunfels, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi have been searching together since last Friday. They have walked, kayaked, gone through dunes, and covered shorelines. "The number one thing people can do is pray and keep his name out there on social media," said Caleb's father, Randy Harris. "That's by far the best direction."“New Braunfels has been,” Randy begins and pauses. “From the mayors to the politicians to friends and dear family and dear friends that Caleb’s grown up with all his life, the community’s just been pouring out. “
