Owner Krysti Rojas is assisted by her daughter, Luna, as they prepare to cut the ribbon during the grand opening of Lemon K Salon in Oak Lawn earlier this month.Krysti Rojas had dreamed for a long time that one day she would own her own hair salon.Lemon K Salon, 4607 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, opened in early July, but delayed their grand opening until Aug. 14.
The Lemon K Salon focuses on cutting and styling women’s hair. This also includes coloring and highlighting. But the salon staff will also cut men and children’s hair. “The K, of course, is for me,” Rojas said after the ribbon-cutting. “Yeah, I’ve been in Oak Lawn for many years and we are happy to be here.”
