Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay said there is “merit” to forcing Dan Snyder to sell the Washington Commanders, adding that he believes eventually there could be enough support among ownership to remove Snyder

As Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder came under fire in recent years for allegations over the workplace culture at the NFL franchise he owns, his fellow owners refrained from striking a firm public stance about his future running the team.

That changed Tuesday when Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay raised the possibility of Snyder being removed from ownership of the team and forced to sell it. The comments, made on the sidelines at an NFL owners meeting in New York, are the strongest stance any owner has taken against Snyder.
