The Towers at Park Central on LBJ Freeway have been acquired by a unit of Fort Worth-based TPG Inc.
The Towers at Park Central — known best for their colorful light displays — are located near the southwest corner of LBJ Freeway and North Central Expressway.
The 8-story to 14-story office buildings contain almost 850,000 square feet of space and form one of the largest campuses along LBJ Freeway. The office towers are next door to the Westin Hotel. Built in the 1980s, the property is almost 70% leased.TPG RE Finance 19 LLC acquired the buildings on Oct. 4, according to county records. The Park Central buildings were sold by a California investor that had owned the buildings since 2014.
