Davis debuted a 12-minute trailer of the doc, tentatively titled, “The Greatest Party Ever,” for guests at his annual Memorial Day weekend soiree at his Pound Ridge, NY, estate over the weekend.Davis’ last doc, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2017, and focused on his numerous collaborations and contributions to the music business.“The Greatest Party Ever” presumably will feature highlights and performances from 50 years at his pre-Grammy celebration.
Whitney Houston appears in the trailer. Houston was planning to attend Davis’ pre-Grammy party in 2012 whenA source, who attended and watched the trailer in Davis’ private theatre, described the doc as “extraordinary with several guests shedding tears” during the section on Houston.
