Several parents with students in the Houston Independent School District said they are worried that the only program created for severely disabled children may soon be gone.

The program may be disbanded by HISD’s new Board of Managers, despite having teachers who are specifically trained to handle children with these needs. Thursday at 6 p.m., KPRC 2′s Zach Lashway will speak with parents who are asking questions about the future of their children’s education.
