Classes here and in some parts of Negros Occidental were suspended on Wednesday, Jan. 11, due to incessant rain spawned by a low pressure area.

Bacolod City DRRMO monitors barangays in case of flooding due to incessant rain brought about by a low pressure area. Aside from Bacolod, suspension of classes were also imposed in the cities of Silay, Cadiz, Sagay, Escalante, San Carlos, Victorias, La Carlota, Bago, Himamaylan, and Talisay, and the towns of E.B. Magalona, Manapla, Murcia, Valladolid, Pontevedra, Ilog, Isabela, Don Salvador Benedicto, Hinigaran, Binalbagan, La Castellana, Calatrava, Moises Padilla, Pulupandan, and San Enrique.
