MANILA, Philippines — The Cignal HD Spikers outplayed the Petro Gazz Angels, 25-19, 25-19, 25-22, to remain unscathed in four games in the Premier Volleyball League 2024 Reinforced Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City on Thursday, August 1. Cignal 's 4-0 mark is the team's best start since the 2022 Invitational Conference.The HD Spikers played meticulously as they made only six errors in the entire match, the fewest committed by a team in the professional league.
You can see the focus and our mindset in each of our games, and I am happy with the result,' Cignal head coach Shaq Delos Santos said.The Delos Santos-mentored squad only made one error in the first set, two errors in the second set and three errors in the third set.Venezuelan player MJ Perez was the sole double-digit scorer for Cignal with 20 points on 16 attacks, three blocks, and an ace.
