For wide receiver Christian Kirk, getting to the milestone of 1,000 receiving yards in his first season with the Jaguars really means something.
According to Pro Football Focus, Kirk has lined up in the slot 601 times, he's lined up out wide 270 times and lined up in the backfield 14 times. He's played in multiple positions and roles in all three of those formations, too.
"It was something I took a look at, but [I] also knew and trusted in their ability to kind of use all the talent that we have in this offense, to kind of just have everybody work together as a cohesive group."This wasn't always the case in the beginning for Jacksonville. The offense took some time to get used to.
"This has been the most enjoyable part. Because it's sort of like a pendulum swing in a sense as far as like ... it's not chaotic but momentum can swing in anyone's direction at any given moment," said Jones."Anyone can really have their unique day. I think that's what makes it so special to be a part of."Kirk's on-field accomplishments are well-documented.
Kirk's importance away from the field can't be overstated, especially for Lawrence, who has quickly formed a close bond with the receiver.
