Rock pulled no punches while addressing Will and Jada Pinkett Smith and the Oscars slap during his Netflix comedy special Saturday.
There was a build up to it all as Rock — who has not spoken publicly about the incident since it happened — worked through the hour-long special which took place in Baltimore. But, man oh man, when he did bring it all home he let Smith have it.
And then he went in for the kill, referencing Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith’s very public history. He said that Smith practices “selective outrage.” Rock said that talking about it was fair game because Will and Jada have talked about it. He said that everyone has gotten cheated on, but “none of us have been interviewed by the person that cheated on us on television.
