Chito Miranda lost his voice before a last-minute Parokya ni Edgar gig, but despite it being “definitely [his] worst for this year,” it was “also one of the best for Parokya.”
On Instagram, Chito shared that he scheduled a beach vacation with his kids following continuous gigs. But then, this one event suddenly pushed through at the same time.
“Ayoko naman i-cancel yung plans ko with my family...so ayun: nag-Pico kami at naligo kami sa beach habang umu-ulan at nag-enjoy naman kami ng todo hehe ,” he said. From the beach, Chito headed straight to EDSA Shangri-la and did his best to rest in the hotel room with lots of water and sleep.Given his circumstances, Chito thanked the crowd for helping him power through.
“Buti nalang sobrang saya ng crowd...and wala silang paki sa boses ko. Sinabayan lang nila kami buong set,” he said.Chito added, “I was struggling buong set at nahihiya talaga ako kasi di ko mabigay yung best ko...pero ni once never pina-feel ng crowd na kulang yung binibigay namin bilang banda.” One of the most legendary OPM rock bands, Parokya ni Edgar is best known for “Your Song,” “Pangarap Lang Kita,” “Harana,” and many more.
