Weak pieces of upper-level energy are moving over the Valley from north to south, like spokes on a wagon wheel rotating around the deep surface low that brought the dreary, rainy, chilly weather to the region this weekend. Isolated light rain showers are possible early overnight before weather dries out after midnight. There should be some clearing closer to dawn. Lows will be chilly, in the lower to mid 40s. Clouds will still be around Tuesday; however, more sunshine should mix in and out.
Partly to mostly sunny skies help temperatures to climb to the low to mid 60s. With a return flow setting up Thursday, we get close to 70 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Clouds are on the increase towards evening ahead of the next storm system.Showers move in for Friday afternoon, and continue overnight, becoming steady rain into early Saturday. Another upper-level trough moves overhead and keeps the shower threat around for the afternoon.
