A message on the main scoreboard at Guaranteed Rate Field announces the cancellation of an 90s concert that was to feature Vanilla Ice, Tone Loc, and Rob Base after the White Sox-As game, won 12-4 by Oakland.After the game, the team was supposed to host a 1990s-themed concert featuring Vanilla Ice, Rob Base and Tone Loc, but it was canceled because of what the team called “technical difficulties.”
“Attention Fans. Due to technical issues, tonight’s postgame concert has been canceled,” a message said on the Guaranteed Rate scoreboard. “We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Fans holding on-field passes will receive a refund to the original purchaser’s credit card.”
