“Vaccinated and Horny” tour stops in Birmingham on May 13 at the Alabama Theatre. We talked to the comedian about making her first appearance in Alabama, her ideas on cancel culture, her reaction to the Supreme Court’s likely overturn of Roe v. Wade and more.I have never performed in Alabama, so I am very much looking forward to coming to the theater in Birmingham.

You know, we’ve been doing this fight for a long time and we need our male counterparts to rise up. Since white men are the people in power making decisions, we need as many white men as possible standing up for us and defending our rights to do what we want with our bodies. So it’s time for everybody to get on board.

So this argument that unborn children … there was a pastor yesterday in Birmingham who went into it in a post on Instagram, a quote from his sermon which said it perfectly. I forget his name, offhand, but he’s a Birmingham pastor who was like, “Yeah, it’s the easiest thing in the world to protect the unborn because they have no voices. You don’t have to form a relationship; there’s no give and take.

One of the main themes of my show is about how my two dogs just don’t respect me. And they believe that my housekeeper is their birth mother, and I’m some sweatythat comes sauntering through the house every three to four weeks. You know, and if I want my dogs to sleep in my bed, I have to lure them inside my house with leashes on, up to my bedroom, with a chicken wing and a scarf that has my cleaning lady’s scent on it.
