The Commission on Higher Education (ChEd), Department of Education (DepEd), Philippine National Police (PNP), Department of Health (DOH), and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) were the top performing and most trusted government agencies for the second quarter this year, the Tugon Ng Masa survey commissioned by think tank OCTA Research showed.

The survey conducted from July 22 to 26 showed that at least three-fourths of adult Filipinos were satisfied with the agencies' performance.In the poll results released Monday, their ratings were in the following order: CHEd, 80 percent; DepEd, 79 percent; PNP, 76 percent; DOH, 75 percent; and DSWD, 73 percent.The same agencies were also the most trusted -- CHEd and DSWD led the group with 78 percent trust rating, followed by the DoH, 77 percent, DepEd, 75 percent, and PNP, 74 percent.
