The Pennsylvania State Police Bomb Squad was called to collect a “possible military ordnance” that was discovered by a resident in Lancaster County on Sunday afternoon, according to police. Elizabethtown Borough police were dispatched to the 0 block of East Orange Street at 1:46 p.m. after a resident found an apparent military ordnance.
Out of an abundance of caution, officers with the Pennsylvania State Police Bomb Squad responded to inspect the ordnance where it was later confirmed to be inert and properly disposed of, police said.Emergency responders with Elizabethtown Fire Department, Mount Joy Fire Department and Bainbridge Fire Department were requested to direct traffic from the area, officers said.If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
