The child's father, Jordan McClure, has been placed in the Franklin County Jail pending extradition.
State Police have located and are returning a kidnapped 2-year-old child from Rhode Island after they caught her father transporting her on I-81 Thursday.
Her kidnapper, Jordan McClure, 24, was arrested without incident when state troopers pulled over his car Thursday, according to state police. State Troopers were tipped off that McClure, of Kentucky, might be driving a blue Chevrolet pickup truck with a Massacheusettes registration south on I-81, and that he was involved in the kidnapping of his daughter from East Providence, Rhode Island.
State Troopers saw the vehicle, stopped it, and arrested McClure. The child was also safely found inside McClure’s vehicle. Police arrested McClure and brought him to the Franklin County Jail, from which he will be extradited to Rhode Island.
