A York County couple was federally indicted Wednesday, accused of conspiring to produce child pornography, according to U.S. Attorney John Gurganus’ office. 26-year-old Wyatt Jones and 21-year-old Marisel Toro, both of York, are also charged with distributing and possessing child pornography. Details of the allegations against the couple were not available Thursday, but the U.S. Attorney’s Office said in a statement the crimes were committed between October 2020 and April 2021. Public court records only state that the child exploitation materials were being stored on a thumb drive and a Samsung cell phone.York City police, the FBI and the U.S. Probation Office all participated in the investigation, according to the statement.
