CEBU CITY, Philippines—One Cebu Island Sinulog 2023 spectators can avail of free rides to the new Sinulog venue at the South Road Properties (SRP) starting at 8 a.m. on Sunday, January 15,
Councilor Joel Garganera, in a social media post on Wednesday afternoon, January 11, announced that the Cebu City government, in partnership with Global Electric Transport and the Visayan Electric Company, will be providing free air-conditioned rides using Electric Vehicles from Plaza Independencia to SRP and vice-versa this Sunday.Garganera is also the chairman of the city council’s Committee on Environment, Natural Resources, Energy and other utilities.
For the black route, PITAM Cooperative-operated modern public utility jeepneys are assigned to transport passengers from Barangay Talamban to the front of the SRP viaduct.
